Broker IQ
The technical audit that gave BrokerIQ the confidence to accelerate growth and unlock two major industry integrations
A clear view of where the product stood. Identified risks and improvements. A defined path forward.
The problem
BrokerIQ had a working product and ambitious growth plans - expanding their customer base, deepening the platform and pursuing integrations with major players in the insurance industry. But before committing to the next phase of investment and development, they needed to know whether their platform could support it.
The questions were important ones. Could the architecture scale with growth? Were there risks or vulnerabilities that needed addressing before they became problems? Was the product positioned to support the integrations they had always planned to pursue?
Without a clear, objective view of where the platform stood technically, making confident decisions about where to invest next was difficult. They needed clarity to move forward - not assumptions.
What we did
We conducted a full Technical Audit of the BrokerIQ product - reviewing architecture, codebase, scalability, security and performance, to give the leadership team a complete and objective picture of where the product stood.
We analysed the codebase to identify areas of complexity, technical debt and potential risk, alongside assessing the technology stack, integrations and infrastructure supporting the platform. The focus wasn't just on finding issues - it was on understanding what they meant commercially for a business preparing to scale and pursue major industry integrations.
Every finding was translated into clear, prioritised recommendations, structured so both technical and non technical stakeholders could understand what needed to change, why it mattered and what to address first. The result was a defined roadmap grounded in BrokerIQ's specific growth ambitions, not generic best practice.
What came out of it
The Technical Audit gave BrokerIQ’s leadership team something they hadn’t had before - a clear, objective view of where the product stood and the confidence to act on it.
Scalability concerns were addressed directly, risks were identified and prioritised, and the team gained a complete technical picture of the platform. What had previously been uncertain, became a structured, evidence based roadmap.
With that clarity, BrokerIQ were able to make informed decisions about where to invest, what to improve and how to sequence the work ahead.
Crucially, it enabled progress. Armed with the audit’s findings, the team moved forward on two major industry integrations, a key step in delivering on their growth plans.
